Review of Being John Malkovich (1999) by Scott K — 19 Jun 2012
The journey to the seven and a half floor is only the beginning as Jonze and Kaufman present to the viewers a unique story containing a plethora of visual metaphors and ideas. Cusack and Cameron give rare performances charged with sexual desire and Keener uses the script in a witty and clever manner.
John Malkovich portrays himself in a manner that successfully displays him as both a character and celebrity. Being John Malkovich is a true mindfuck.
