Mostly a talking head documentary there was enough behind-the-scenes and general heart warming moments to elevate it beyond the boring documentary it otherwise might have been. Kevin Clash brings you back to his childhood in order to explain the journey that was his life and how Elmo came into being.

In fact, much of the first half of the film is about his love of the Muppets and Jim Henson and Frank Oz. Kevin Clash seems to be one of the lucky ones who without knowing anybody, made the right moves at the right times until eventually becoming the success he is now.

Everything just seemed to work out for him.
