The three stages of Elmo:
1. Pre-parenthood: I hate Elmo. Elmo is so annoying.
2. The toddler years: my kid loves Elmo. That voice is a little annoying, but the kid loves Elmo so much, I guess I can handle it.
3. The older kid years: I miss Elmo. Remember when the kid used to watch "Sesame St."? *sniff*.
This documentary about puppeteer/creator of Elmo Kevin Clash shows him as a sweet, wonderful man and a true inheritor of Jim Henson's mantle.
