Review of Being Cyrus (2005) by Sahal M — 15 May 2011
Homi Adajania delivers in his directorial debut in this twisted movie. Saif Ali Khan delivers the performance of a lifetime, and Adajania's affectations for Hitchcock are more than evident in several scenes, and handled with aplomb.
A relatively heavy topic, dealt with in a sort of sinister grandeur, Adajania surprises with his professionalism, giving us a glimpse of what should be a lot more to come.
