A truly memorable faux-slasher genre movie, this is memorable for all the right reasons. Kind of a mix between Man Bites Dog and all the '80's slasher pics, Behind The Mask has a very clever, funny, and original script that only benefits from the strangely sympathetic performance of the lead actor.
Both an homage AND a deconstruction of the slasher genre, this is entertaining from start to finish. This is a must-see for anyone who'd like to watch something he haven't seen before. A soon-to-become cult horror movie if you ask me.
