Review of Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon (2006) by Adrian C — 02 May 2009
This film starts slowly but builds to an interesting finale. Most of the humour will only work if your a fan of horror/slasher films. I do like the way it's filmed documentary style, but once the action really kicks in it, it changes to proper filming and background music.
Cameos from Robert Englund and Zelda Rubenstein do actually add to the film as well. The main character is irritating and humorous at the same time. The part where he explains how hard he has to work out so that he can chase his victims without ever breaking out of a walk, made me laugh!
