Review of Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon (2006) by Richard H — 16 May 2009
It seemed like your typical mockumentary until a little past the middle of the film. I love the transition and their panic when they realize they're not the outsiders recording someone else's life.
The comparisons and analysis of slasher horror films is also pretty good. Nathan Baesel as the masked killer gives it just the right amount of silly-freaky mix. Recommended to fans of Dexter and/or any slasher/serial killer film.
