"Behind the Mask" is a clever and funny film. It's carried by a killer performance by Nathan Baesel who alternates a little too easily from charming to creepy. If I were his neighbor, I would move.
The movie falls apart slightly at the end. During the meat of the action all of the surprises and reveals aren't surprising or revealing to any fan of the genre. It's still solid entertainment from the original opening until the crushing conclusion.
