Review of Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon (2006) by Jason J — 03 Aug 2010
Somewhere between "Man Bites Dog" and "Halloween". Amateurish at times, but enough wit and originality to carry it through. About a third of the way in you may be tempted to lose interest, but stick with it.
The end makes it worthwhile. Great cameos by Englund, Zelda Rubinstein and Scott Wilson round out an enjoyable, original (if flawed) little movie.
