At first I wasn't sold on Michael Douglas as Liberace and Matt Damon as his lover, but the both grew on me quickly. Although I wasn't sold on Damon as a fresh faced innocent 17 year old when he first meets Liberace.
But it was worth it to watch Damon in a rhinestone covered speedo! A great glitzy campy romantic film by Steven Soderbergh. Based on a book by his former lover Scott Thorson, its a shame Thorson won't be able to see it as he is currently in jail in Nevada.
