Review of Behind the Candelabra (2013) by James G — 18 Jun 2013
Michael Douglas in probably his best role for a couple of decades. A frank, sometimes uncomfortable portrayal of a lonely star and his tempestuous relationship with the love of his life. Or was he? The film looks great, the acting's amazing and it kept me gripped from start to finish (and left me with a tear in my eye).
