Review of Behind the Candelabra (2013) by Shane D — 17 Aug 2013

An epic effort from all involved. Douglas, Damon, Lowe, Reynolds, Akyroyd, Bakula...etc...put in some of the finest performances of their careers. Outside of the pitch perfect tone, hair, makeup, set design, costume etc, the performances from the above are sublime, especially from Douglas.

However...it's brilliance lies in the above and not necessarily in any story or interesting plot. Its a neat, glitzy, often hilarious and endearing look at a pop culture oddity.
