Review of Begotten (1991) by Kaleb T — 22 May 2011
I was eager to see this film after all the things I've heard about it, but I was left disapointed to say the least. The visual style is unique, I have seen many experimental films but none quite like this.
It is high-contrast, grainy, and hard to see any sort of detail. It was interesting, but most of the scenes ran on way too long. This would have been better as a short film under 30 minutes rather than a feature.
