I didn't fall in love with this movie as much as I was hoping I would. I just couldn't emotionally connect the way I could with other films. It was surely a cute story, and Christopher Plummer did a great job in a supporting role, and deserves a nomination.
But I'm unsure it warrants a best supporting actor win. In a way, Ewan McGregor out-shined Plummer in the film, as did Melanie Laurent. I wanted to love it, but I simply just liked it.
