Review of Beginners (2011) by Majick T — 18 Jan 2012
At first I thought why would it be titled 'Beginners'? Then as I watch the characters unfold themselves to bare their soul, the film hit me in the end, we are all beginners when it comes to self-discovery and love.
We could start life from a certain point deemed too late by cynicism. Christopher Plummer is excellent. He captured that sense of freedom once you opened the door. Ewan McGregor and Melanie Laurent look serene playing the confused couple.
