Review of Beginners (2011) by Crusader . — 11 Mar 2012
This film was a huge disappointment. Ewan Macgregor was excellent. Christopher Plummer in no way deserved the Best Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in this film, even though his acting was good. The award should have gone to Jonah Hill in Moneyball, as that performance was 100 times better than Plummer's performance in this film!
This film was on par with a good TV drama, but not an excellent film by any standards!
