Review of Beginners (2011) by Lance P — 28 May 2012
This is a somewhat depressing film, but ultimately hopeful. Ewan McGregor is an underrated actor and he's completely natural...it never feels like he's acting too hard in this. The editing is off-kilter and interesting, but not in an obvious or show-offy way.
I think this will be a film that is hard to shake.
