Beginners is definitely an Indie film. Great acting. Intriguing moments. Creative choices. Kind of depressing. Somewhat pointless. It also lacked some emotional connection which seemed quite necessary.
I'm glad I watched it, but I'm not terribly tempted to watch it again.
