Review of Beginners (2011) by Erin D — 21 Apr 2014
I liked the story, and loved the acting, especially by Christopher Plummer and Ewan McGregor (& Cosmo the dog!), but the constant jumping between "current" and a few years earlier, made it a little harder to just enjoy the movie, and made my brain work too hard.
Maybe I'm in the minority on that, and maybe concussion issues make me more sensitive to that, but that's just my feeling. The movie was definitely worth seeing though.
