A tense, classic melodrama/suspense thriller (akin to Woody Allen's Cassandra's dream, though far bleaker), an excellent modern day Labbacidian myth.
Don't know why this film failed to receive the attention it thoroughly deserves at its release. Intricate webweaving; the excruciating descent into hell of two clueless brothers forced by greed to commit the unimaginable and precipitate the sequence of unalterable events which seal their fate.
