Before the Devil Knows You're Dead is an impressive movie. The acting is solid, the directing is stylish, and the way what seemed at first to be an easy, predictable story gets beautifully weaved into a complex situation.
This is a sinister and quite depressing movie and although it's by no means revolutionary, it sure is proof of how amazing Lumet truly is.
