Review of Before the Devil Knows You're Dead (2007) by Brad S — 17 Mar 2012
This is a film that really didn't work for me personally, admittedly it may be a better film than my star rating indicates, but it just didn't work for me.
I found it very slow in parts, and too melodramatic, which after watching the facinating "making of" I learned is what Sydney Lumet was going for. He is one of the All-Time greats, but this one just didn't work for me.
