Review of Before the Devil Knows You're Dead (2007) by Trevor M — 05 Jun 2012
A near-perfect and beautifully shot film by the late, great Sidney Lumet. This was his last film before he passed away. A film that would've been average at best we're it not for the powerful emotions portrayed in the two main characters' acting, especially Ethan Hawke.
His performance is so realistic that it made me anxious.
