Before you watch this film, you must be aware that it is nothing less than a Shakespearean tragedy and a unflinching character study, otherwise you have no chance of enjoying it at all. Terribly bleak from beginning to end with stunning performances that make you shiver but never deprive you of a few crumbs of empathy.
The music underlines the how everything is falling apart. Only criticism: I didn't think the non-linear narrative contributed anything to the film.
