Two hours of people who are constantly dour, morose, and depressed, all because of their own stupid decisions. You'll likely loath virtually every character in the movie and secretly cheer each death since it marks the end of that particular character's complaining and self-pity.
Hitchcock is often quoted as saying that audiences needed a break during a movie, something to change the pacing. This movie ignores that axiom and fails because of it, even with incredible acting from all involved.
