Review of Before Sunset (2004) by Daniel W — 16 Aug 2014
Richard Linklater wouldn't make too big of a career in the silent movie era, that's for sure. Similar to the previous installment of the trilogy, Before Sunset is all about talking and long takes which doesn't make it any less interesting or vibrant.
On the contrary, it sets a perfect premise for this unexpected encounter during which the duo discuss anything from their relationship status to the meaning of life and reincarnation. A beautiful, genuine and heart-warming film topped off with the best possible ending.
