Review of Before Sunset (2004) by Parker S — 26 Jun 2012
Set nine years after Before Sunrise, which I also thoroughly enjoyed, this movie possibly outdoes the original. Its intelligent and emotional, interesting and just as life-like as the first one. The chemistry grows between these two lovers and once again creates the feeling of realism.
Every second that is spent with these two wandering and talking about love and relationships and life in general, the more you don't want them to part. The script is beautifully written and is written like a real conversation between two people that are old friends.
And the ending that doesn't answer many questions and keeps what these two will do in the future unanswerable, is satisfying simply because of the fact that I may be able to see these two characters together again in another 10 years.
