Review of Before Sunset (2004) by Ian N — 25 May 2013
Richard Linklater hasn't lost that profound gift for showing love on the screen, its just that this time Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy have helped Richard Linklater write the sequel to the enduring romance Before Sunrise.
Before Sunset takes place in real time, nine years after the events in Before Sunrise, Its shows Jesse and Celine meeting again and expressing their undying love that they had and still have for each other, this film is truly touching and that dialogue is so real and embracing that you only wish that this film is longer than 80 Minutes.
Before Sunrise and Before Sunset are films that I always enjoy watching with ladies. It really shows what would happen if you could see the one girl that got away, I'm sure every man would love to have that chance.
