Review of Before Sunset (2004) by Margarita S — 29 May 2011
This films works well on its own, but is far richer an experience if youâ(TM)ve seen its predecessor, âBefore Sunriseâ?. Filmed in real time, this is an exceptionally tantalizing, love story. Years have passed since Celine and Jesse first met on that train in Vienna, and suddenly theyâ(TM)re face-to-face, ready to both indulge in and push away this connection they felt nine years earlier.
Itâ(TM)s ripe with contradictory emotions, intensely sharp banter and complicated circumstances. A must see for all romantics out there and those who may have sometimes wondered⦠âDid I let â~the oneâ(TM) slip away?â?
