Richard Linklater's perception is so keen, it's as if he has translated any inkling of thought one has ever conceived into the dialogue between Jesse and Celine. The characters have matured, but they're imbued with the same existential insight and depth.
Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy are irresistible. "Before Sunset" captures the rare beauty of connecting with someone who you can be completely honest with, the one who reflects your true self.
