Review of Before Sunrise (1995) by Niranjana J — 06 Dec 2010
Throw a pair of complete strangers, impulsive and intellectual in their own respects, passively attracted to one another in a foreign world and that's what Before Sunrise is all about. The story is focused strongly on the banter between the characters, which ranges over a wide range of thought-invoking topics.
There were moments I felt nothing was happening and got quite bored but this movie isn't about plot and climax. It's about a message that's been put across in a realistic way. The key is to listen to the dialogue.
The acting was simply perfection - it was almost too real. A very inspirational film. It'll make you think and perhaps push you to question things you've never thought about.
