Review of Before Sunrise (1995) by Parker S — 26 Jun 2012
: Basically, this movie is just two people walking and talking about life, relationships, themselves and death. It plays out over a 24 hour period and what keeps this movie from being a drab is the life-like characters and their life-like relationship and their life-like conversations.
The two characters have great chemistry and their time together is genuinely alluring and fun. Its a romance that I actually like for once, since I am only used to chick flicks with poor scripts and non-fleshed out characters.
It has some pretty heavy philosophical tones in multiple of their conversations, and the nature of love constantly pops up too.
