Review of Before Sunrise (1995) by Tim R — 07 Jan 2011
Must-watch. An overture of escapism through the lens of a significant other, this existentialistic one-of-a-kind romantic piece feels like a rapturous rupture in time. 20th Century Vienna with its laidback ambience is the perfect foil to two spirits, bounded by the limitation of time, cherish every second with tender moments, through one continuous conversation.
So many scenes worthy of memory - milk shake poem, telephone roleplay, ferris wheel, the car lounge, the music booth, but a few. And the final parting shot, arrayed with re-hash of every significant parts, lingers with heartful hopefullness.
