Review of Before Sunrise (1995) by Colby J — 24 May 2013
Before Sunrise is one of those films that is purely dialogue driven, no need for amazement or visuals, however, the film is perfectly set in Vienna. The two main characters, Jesse and Celine, are real and are as fleshed out as a real humans with intelligent thoughts on life, death, life after death, love, and other ideals that are perfectly cemented together by the chemistry of Hawke and Delpy in a colossus of imagination and love and make this movie a, if I dare say it, perfect movie.
