Review of Before Sunrise (1995) by Jake R — 08 Jun 2015
"Before Sunset" is revealing, honest, and beautiful. It is unlike any film before its' time and there have been no films since that have captured the essence of love as exquisitely. Richard Linklater creates a cinematic oil painting, with Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy as his colors and the streets of Vienna as his canvas.
It is the most personal and raw exposure of modern love that has ever been conceived, and it will endure as a masterpiece.
