Review of Before Midnight (2013) by Spencer S — 04 Sep 2014

Just as the two films before it, Before Midnight offers yet another film of excellent direction and performances as well as it's incredible screenplay. Just like the progress of the first two films, it ups the dark, and delves into the deeper territory and reflects on the dwindling love of a couple.

But it doesn't go too dark to be unpleasant, it gives a spark of hope that could be lit. Is it lit by the end, well, that would be ruining what is one of the best films of 2013 so far, and that would be a crime that no one should commit.
