Despite the negative ratings, I watched this movie because I like Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth. The film started out really holding my attention and was fascinating and suspenseful. The plot turns kept me guessing and I found it scary and creepy as it progressed.
In the end, the plot had a few holes and it didn't come together in a super fulfilling way, but it was worth watching.
