Review of Before I Go to Sleep (2014) by Viccy K — 27 Feb 2015
This is not the greatest psychological movie you will see, but it is good, with numerous tense moments. I think all three of the main actors were good in their roles. This is one of those rare movies that is better than the book.
..far better. I felt the book spent too much time on Christine Lucas fretting over her condition, often repeating the same fretting beyond the need to make clear her memory lapse. The movie avoids this.
While the movie waters down the plot in ways that are inferior to the novel, the overall result is an improvement.
