Read the novel, more thrilling reading the story than watching it, although admittedly the storyline is well adapted from the novel.
Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth didn't need much acting I thought as they don't really need to convince anyone of anything as it appears on this film...or is it because I've read the novel already?
