I gave it 2 stars for good acting.

Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend a friend to pay $ to go see or even rent. Sorry. It's not horrible, so if you're curious, go see it. But I could've done better with my$ on another movie, and even if it was free, probably would've preferred watching one of favorite TH shows instead.

Usually o have great things to say about movies and I'm not a superficial person, so I did appreciate the depth of meaning this movie was trying to convey. But having had my own near death experiences and the value of "make this day count", the message was not new and maybe it is to others.

Contrasting to this is the fact that I saw Groundhog Day at least 20 times and would see it again. That movie had so many profound layers to it, very very specific (though not explicit) on what lessons were being learned each time around.
