Review of Beethoven's Big Break (2008) by Roxanne R — 30 Dec 2008
Well what can I say....I like dogs a lot, especially Beethoven -the big and husky 185 pound St. Bernard! I have seen most of the previous Beethoven films which were very funny. Granted, this one unlike Marley & Me, is definitely geared towards children but if you like pets and comedy then you cannot go wrong renting it.
In this one we have an animal trainer/handler (Eddie) who is a single parent and he has a strict no dogs allowed policy at home even though his son yearns to keep a stray he found (Beethoven) and his family of puppies.
When dog-nappers steal the canine star of the movie Eddie was working on, the studio's big shots must rapidly find a replacement and unexpectedly cast the beloved Beethoven as the next big Hollywood star! Through his antics and larger-than-life personality, Beethoven no only crashes into Hollywood but into Eddie's heart as well.
I recommend it since Beethoven and his puppies are simply irresistible!!
