Beethoven the Saint Bernard is back in this comedy for the whole family, in which the Newton Family (with their rather large pet in tow) hops into their camper for a cross-country vacation. Along the way, they encounter a gang of bad guys. Can Beethoven help bring them to justice? Beethoven's 3rd stars Judge Reinhold, Julia Sweeney, Jamie Marsh, and Michaela Gallo. Charles Grodin, star of the first two films, opted not to appear in this one. From a dramatic standpoint, there is not even the level of emotional depth achieved by the second Beethoven film, but as basic and unimaginative as the slapstick often is, it delivers to its target audience. See dog run in slow motion, floppy jowls a-flapping! See dog shake off water, dousing those around him so they yell, ''BAY-thoven!'' (the canine-comedy equivalent of a money shot). See Judge Reinhold wonder, ''Whither Fast Times?'' while playing the absent Charles Grodin's brother who brings the gigantopooch on his family's summer vacation (and ends up - don't ask - followed by the obligatory bumbling crooks). With the sloppy made-for-video threequel Beethoven's 3rd, man's best friend is his VCR's stop button.

VERDICT: "Hit The Exits" - [Panned Reaction] These are some of the worst films ever made. These films do everything wrong and do it worse than bad. Audiences should never see this film under any circumstances! (Films that are rated 0.5 or 1 stars).
