Beerfest is what it is, a movie that goes from point A to point B with gags, and a thin plot. Which is what I expected anyway, with a title like "Beerfest" I expected it to be a dumb movie about a bunch of guys who drink a lot of beer.
That's exactly what we got, the characters have good chemistry, some jokes don't work so if you watch it don't expect to laugh through the whole thing, but when it made me laugh, it really made me laugh.
This is a movie that kind of makes me want to drink beer, and I hate beer. The film isn't a perfect comedy, but it's certainly one to sit down and enjoy. If you come by it at a video store, or it's playing on Comedy Central or something, I certainly wouldn't change the channel.
