Two films that are this, but better: Baseket Ball and The Sandlot (yes, the one about the neighborhood kids playing for the fun of it).
This movie was honestly a complete waste of time. Lots of swearing where it really wasn't needed (i don't mind it, but overkill does exist). It's a good movie to actually make yourself feel better by comparing yourself of Artie in this. I couldn't help but feel good about myself after watching this. How does a movie like this get the blu ray treatment?
