Review of Bee Season (2005) by Ashley T — 26 Sep 2007
Over-bearing parents are really annoying. You know the type. Richard Gere plays one very effectively in this flick, which makes it annoying to watch, even though in the end you'll realize you hate him more than the movie itself.
Newcomer Flora Cross does well as the child prodigy speller, while Juliette Binoche and Max Mingella are good as the neglected wife and "other" child. And Kate Bosworth makes the most of her tiny role.
