Review of Bee Season (2005) by Damion R — 16 Jan 2009
As much as it tried to be a spiritual, message film while trying to tug at the heartstrings, nothing in this film really ever came together and you never began to care about any of the characters nor the message, really, as it gets buried in Jeish mysticism.
A good message with some really lovely visual effects, but the film ultimately falls flat as it attempts to note the moments of a family falling apart and the dreams of a girl who loves to spell.
