The only thing this movie exists to accomplish is to reestablish Richard Gere's masculinity. See Richard Gere as sensitive! Macho! Intellectual! Sexy! Sniveling! Vacant as the cold vacuum of space! This movie could only be less appealing if it were "Shall We Dance?".
