As humourous and knowing as it is in places, "Bee Movie" resembles its namesake too fondly and simply moves too fast for any real coherence - it moves from one scene to another, the voice actors barely having chance to catch their breath between the hit-and-miss jokes and uneven tonal changes.

The plot, which is unorignal but quite inspired, does bring in the adult audience with its monologues on morals and decency within American (over the counter) culture, but this interesting premise soon disapates as the ending, and characters, transpire to make it a happy experience for everyone and remind us that places in nature are there for a reason, with dire consequences if we choose to change that.

That being said, it does provide some entertainment, and is funny enough to make it all worthwhile, but will surely be a hit with the children.
