Review of Bedtime Stories (2008) by James K — 26 Nov 2010
Adam Sandler's character told his niece and nephew three bedtime stories, each he starred as the main character in: a peasant who gets a go in ruling a castle, a cowboy saving a damsel in distress and a spaceman in intergalactic battle.
The next morning an awfully similar situation occurred, mimicking the stories he told of the night before. It has fantastical setting and light-hearted comic moments and I think most 6-year-old would identify with either the kids in the movie or the story of fair play, or both.
Every story development was well thought and acted out. And even though not all stories have a happy ending but this one has to have one given the target audience would have been kids who would will it to a happy end regardless.
After all, the most important is those who tell the stories!
