Doesn't succeed at what it's supposed to do. They were trying to make a kids movie here, but Adam Sandler is starring. There are times when an adult comedian does a kids movie, and it is good. I love Ben Stiller's Night at the Museum movies, but Sandler is trying to hold on to his un-kid friendly humor here. It's like taking Sandler's classic shtick toned down for kids.

The story is of Skeeter Bronson. His father owned a hotel, but sold it to a rich business man. Skeeter grows up to be the lowly janitor of the now huge hotel. He is given the responsibility of babysitting his niece and nephew for a few days. He tells them a bedtime story the first night of babysitting, and low and behold, the things he said in the bedtime story are coming true. Skeeter then tries to use this to his advantage.

Adam Sandler stars as Skeeter. He doesn't change a thing just because he is doing a kids movie. Annoying as always. Keri Russell plays Jill. She is decent, considering what she is given. Russell Brand plays Micky, Skeeters friend. While he is truly funny, it just seems out of place to have Russell Brand in a kids movie. But on a good note, the kids in this movie are actually really good little actors.

Overall, this movie does NOT have the heart of the Night at the Museum movies. Those movies were real movies, not just a toned down, Adam Sandler, excuse for a Motion Picture.

"I really like ketchup on my face. It's really rejuvenating for the skin. So who's the real victim here? You are." 4.5/10.
